Distinguishing Between Our Experience of Life and Our Experience of Self
Our love will now extend into the fourth, very interesting gift that we wish to bring across to you and we will begin with a singular image of ice cream. It is one of those types of ice cream that has within it pieces discernible from the texture of the ice cream. Pieces that are said to add taste or sometimes authenticity to the flavour of the ice cream, but which do not nevertheless. We are wanting to discern here between the textures, between something that can exist within a base element and be of a different texture. We are trying in this funny way – quite quaint really – to suggest to you another way of understanding yourselves on earth. It is a very interesting experience to be human. You know you are operating because you feel it and see it. You know you are operating in a world of material existence. It is your experience; it is your reality that and yet at the same moment you are working within understandings, all of you, that you are not of this world. That the essence of you is not material and does not reside in a particular place, let alone one of such dense energy such as earth. That is the conundrum with which you all exist at this moment. Knowing and have an awareness of being a physical, dense being that can knock their hands against a table and feel it. Yet also having experiences equally valid as that that indicates to you that you are vast and certainly not confined to physical existence. It is almost like dropping pieces of fruit into ice cream. The experience of eating the ice cream is one experience. It is one taste, one bite, one experience of ice cream even though the textures or elements are separate. There are pieces within the ice cream that have been placed there, so to speak, in the base material. You are just that way. You have decided to, for a certain period, place a certain portion of your energy within a particular soup; within a particular mixture. Consider it, if you will, a mixture like if you were baking or cooking and you create a batter of a sort and you drop into that, bits and pieces of other ingredients and it sets or cooks together to make one thing, one experience.
It is the closest we can come to explaining to you what you have done to get here. There is a particular energy or batter that is earth. It has within it certain elements that are always there. Certain frequencies that are changing and that are alterable and into this mixture you place yourself in a solidified form, a material form for a certain time and even though you are not of the same quality or the same essence as the mixture, for the time that you are together you are experienced as the one thing. What we are hoping to bring across to you by explaining your positioning on this earth this way is once again a sense of freedom. Understanding that while it is certainly so that your existence is real in the sense that it can be verified by others in this room, while that is so, you are not of the same substance as the world in which you reside. You are taking on its form; you are merging with it for a particular reason and for a defined time period, but you are not made of the same energy or density as you experience life on earth being as. We will make this applicable in this way. When it is so that you experience life on earth as heavy, which you will - anxious, trying, depressing one moment, sad – understand that that is a legitimate experience of the particular environment in which you live. That energy of sadness, depression, heaviness, loneliness exists here and it is so with beautiful reason. Yet many of you are too closely defining yourselves with your experiences of living. Let’s say that again - Too many of you are too closely identifying or associating yourselves with your experience of life. It is as we have said and we have so much honour for this. It is legitimate to experience life at certain moments as heavy for it is. In relation to you life is indescribably heavy in this form. It is legitimate to experience life as frustrating, as sad, as lonely and so on. Yet, be extremely clear about understanding that is what you are experiencing, not what you are. We have one great wish and that is to shift this understanding through to language. You are so used to, in your common parlance, saying ‘I am heavy; I am sad; I am angry; I am frustrated”. Again we are honouring your experience of life for it is of such consequence to the universe that you experience those things. Yet we are suggesting to not identify your own essence as being that. To continually say whether it is in the form of mental thoughts or vocalized thoughts to continually say “I am angry; I am weak” is to be misunderstanding the distinction between who you are and what life is on this planet. Life can be very weak; very fragile where you are, yet that is not the substance of you. You remain trapped in the experience of earth life while you yet identify so closely with it. The beauty of being human is that you get to have experiences of things that are not understood to be Godly. Yet while you identify yourself so tightly with those experiences you will not be able to bring your full divinity into life, for you are not giving permission for strength when you say I’m weak. You are not giving permission for joy when you say I am sad and you are not giving permission for union when you say I am lonely.
We are suggesting to you to watch very acutely the manner in which you suggest to the world and to yourself the manner in which you suggest you are. Notice with great clarity what word follows the “I am”. It may seem trivial yet we and in this…we are suggesting the universe entire – we respond most clearly to that which comes after “I am”. When you suggest to us you are weak, you are limiting the experience you might have of being strong. We cannot interact with you as being strong when you tell us you are not. That is what we would suggest in point no. 4 - to remain very clearly within the distinction of the experience of life here and who you are in relation to that. You will find far greater power and joy at your disposal when you are clear about the distinction between life and you. Thank you.
